About Dr. James Hinesly in Michigan

Dr. Hinesly attended high school at Birmingham Detroit Country Day School and received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Michigan State University in 1980. He continued his education at Howard University College of Dentistry, where he received his DDS degree in 1985. Dr. Hinesly earned his master's degree in Orthodontics from the University of Michigan in 1988.
Dr. Hinesly is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics; he is also a mentor for the American Board of Orthodontics. A Roth Williams-trained orthodontist, he is a member of the Roth Williams International Society of Orthodontists. He is also a member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontists, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the Great Lakes Society.
Dr. Hinesly and his lovely wife, Mary, take pride in their ability to give back to the community. He is a proud supporter of the Tecumseh Youth Theatre, Lenawee County 4-H and numerous Little League and softball teams. Dr. Hinesly takes pride in being involved with the community and schools in the area.
While away from the office, Dr. Hinesly enjoys golfing, reading, travel and exercise. Dr. Hinesly had the honor of being an All-Big Ten and All-American football player during his years at Michigan State University. After his illustrious career as a Spartan, he was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks.
